NoMor-I-Stain Powder is Safe and Natural for dogs and cats. No harmful antibiotics or chemicals. Works by addressing the problem from the inside out.

For animals whose eyes constantly water and stain the eye area. Fight red yeast and fur staining around the eyes, feet and mouth area. There are many causes for eye staining and one can be the water your animal drinks. If you fill your dog/cat water dish with tap water, the lead and iron in the water can cause those rust rust-colored tear stains around the mouth and eyes. We highly recommend giving filtered purified water only and sanitary dishes for your dog/cat food and water.

NoMor-I-Stain Powder safely and effectively combats un-wanted eye stains in pets caused by bacteria and excessive tearing. A water-soluble supplement that is high in colostrum probiotics, enzymes, mino acids and bioflavonoids. and other natural ingredients. Contains no antibiotics, drugs, chemicals or other long-term toxic products. NoMor-I-Stain Powder is an all-natural oral supplement that is easy to feed. Simply mix the appropriate dose in with your pet's food.

NoMor-I-Stain Powder works hand in hand with NoMor-I Stain Topical by keeping the fur around the eyes clean and properly groomed.

Causes of Tear Stains on Dogs and Cats

Tear stains, sometimes referred to as cat or dog eye stains, can be frustrating and unsightly. You may wonder where tear stains come from, what causes them, and how you can combat them. Thomas Labs® is here to help provide some answers to your questions!

Tear Stain Causes

Although cat and dog tear stains can have different causes, the most common cause is a condition called Epiphora, otherwise known as excessive tear production. Tear stains can form on dogs and cats if excessive amounts of bacteria and yeast accumulate on the fur around the eye area. Red yeast is what causes reddish-brown streaks under a dog or cat’s eyes, and it is a common cause of tear stains.

There are a variety of reasons that a pet might develop epiphora, including:

  • Allergies: Environmental or food allergies can cause excess tear production as the body reacts to the allergen.
  • Ear infections: Infections in your pet’s ears can actually cause the eyes to produce more tears than normal.
  • Eye infections: There are many different causes of eye infections in pets, including parasites, viruses, bacteria, or irritants like smoke.
  • Blocked tear ducts: When a tear duct becomes blocked, tears will build up and irritate the eye. This irritation can cause swelling and watery eyes.
  • Excessive hair growth around the eyes: long hair around the eyes can cause irritation and excessive tearing.
  • Eyelids that face inward: Some pets have eyelids that face inward, which can cause their eyelashes to rub against their eyes. This can result in irritation and eye damage.
  • Shallow eye sockets: When pets have shallow eye sockets, their eyelids don’t always fully close and their eye sockets aren’t large enough to hold tears. This can result in irritation, excessive tears, and eye damage. This is more common in brachycephalic dogs.
  • Shape of the eye: Any irregularity or scarring of the eye can cause the production of more tears.
  • Exposure to irritants: When pets are exposed to irritants like dust or smoke, this can cause their eyes to produce more tears.
  • Teething: When puppies or kittens go through teething, this can sometimes cause an excess of tears.
  • Health issues: There are a variety of health issues that can cause eye issues, including conjunctivitis and glaucoma.

What Breeds Are More Susceptible to Tear Stains?

Tear stains are more common in certain dog breeds, such as Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, and Maltese. In cats, tear stains are common in Himalayans and Persians. They are also more noticeable in pets with light-colored fur.
